In order to award mobility grants, companies first check the type of transport:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Since most employees (72.8%) work in large cities (e.g. Berlin, Hamburg, Munich), tickets for public transport are the most frequently granted benefits.<\/li>\n<li>From an annual amount of 4,500 euros per employee, mobility costs are taxable for both the employee and the company. On average, the travel allowance per employee per year is between EUR 250-1000.<\/li>\n<li>Company cars are the most expensive benefit and depend on the employee&#8217;s position in the company. Only 33 out of 122 companies offer this benefit, and large companies account for 69% of these. In this context, means of transport can also be considered as indispensable requirements rather than personal benefits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.19.4&#8243;
